The American-born, Jamaican-bred Mr. Melody may have targeted the clubs with his catchy—and kinda cheesy—"Wyne" hit back in June, but the artist adds some solid substance to his name with this new offering, "Cut It Cut It."
It's a triumphant and traditional hip-hop anthem, which hears Melody open with a quintessential, Jamaican-twanged verse before displaying his aptness for that tough, East Coast brand of rap to close the track. The L.O.X. legend Styles P and Melody's frequent collaborator Bolo deliver in between, but are far from just fillers.
"Cut It Cut It" will be included on Mr. Melody's Don Cannon-hosted mixtape, The Contagion, releasing Dec. 27. Watch the visuals below and download the track here.
