Here's a charming rendition of classic Christmas carol "Good King Wenceslas," performed by a trio of unlikely collaborators. But that's what the holiday season is all about: assembling miscellaneous celebrities in one room and persuading them to sing, especially when those particular celebrities can actually sing.
Well, two out of three ain't bad.
Michael Stipe and Homeland's Mandy Patinkin stopped by The Colbert Report last night as part of Colbert's ongoing "Christmas Carol Week." Watch the star power twinkle below. Highlight: Colbert, whose singing voice is nearly indistinguishable from his speaking voice, mugging for the camera in front of picture of Mt. Rushmore. Ten bucks that's his Christmas card. [CoS]
