A pair of stop motion chimeras manufacture clockwork portals into worlds of old in the new video from world/electronic fusion act Beats Antique. "Skeleton Key," off the group's August release Clockwork Vol. 2, pads exotic strings with deep house synths and dubby bass to mold a chimera of its own.
Beats Antique are currently riding out the final dates of their Animale Mechanique tour in support of the new record. They'll playing the night of the solstice/apocalypse in front of the Egyptian pyramids in Giza for a historic set on Dec. 21 before they swing by Portland's Crystal Ballroom on Dec. 27 and 28, the Snowglobe Festival in Tahoe on Dec. 29, and finally Seattle's Paramount Theatre on New Year's Eve.
The video for "Skeleton Key" was directed by animator Basia Goszczynska.
