It's become a rite of passage for rappers visiting Vancouver to interview with Nardwuar.
A very enthusiastic Brother Ali was up north and spoke with the human serviette about an assortment of topics including coming up with his name, meeting Mos Def while touring with MF Doom, and battling Sage Francis.
The highlight of the interview happens at the 10:25 mark when Ali retells a story of Prince banning the rapper's music due to a curse word.
