One of the biggest questions on fans' minds throughout 30 Rock's seven seasons has been when (and with whom) Liz Lemon would settle down. Yesterday it was announced that her ex-boyfriend Dennis Duffy (Dean Winters) would be returning to the show on Nov. 29. It looks like his comeback will coincide with a very important event in Liz's life.
NBC has released a wedding announcement for Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) and Criss Chross (James Marsden), adding that the pair won't be married "in a creepy way that perpetuates the idea that brides are virgins and women are property."
So will Dennis be barging into the chapel to object to the union?
NBC has already spoiled a sitcom wedding. Before April and Andy got married on Parks and Recreation, the network spoiled their upcoming nuptials with a wedding registry.
While Liz Lemon marrying Criss was kind of expected, considering the series is ending its shortened final season soon (plus, they're trying to have a baby), but somehow knowing the news ahead of time feels like a spoiler. Is it still a spoiler if it comes from the network?
