Divine Fits recently wrapped up their first ever tour in support of their recently released debut, A Thing Called Divine Fits. As the tour progressed, the supergroup consisting of Spoon's Britt Daniel, Wolf Parade/Handsome Furs' Dan Boeckner and New Bomb Turks' Sam Brown decided to spice things up a bit and throw some cover songs into the setlist, including a rock version of Frank Ocean's "Lost."
During a show at Atlanta's Terminal West on October 29, Divine Fits gave their fans another surprise, in the form of Deerhunter/Atlas Sound's Bradford Cox. The lanky musician joined the guys onstage to perform a cover of The Ramones' "53rd & 3rd," dedicating the song to the victims of Hurricane Sandy. "53rd & 3rd is probably underwater right now," Cox commented after finishing the song.
