The UK rap scene is blowing up right now. Big time. Young and bratty emcees such as Dizzee Rascal are no longer the only ones finding a state-side audience. Artists like Darq E Freaker, whose work with Danny Brown on "Blueberry" boasts over half a million youtube views, have not only made a name for themselves in the clubs but helped build the seafaring sub-genre of 'purple'.
Now, Darq E is at it again with fellow London emcee Boyadee and the rest of their Nu Brand Flexxx crew. Shot in Amsterdam, the video is unsurprisingly packed with blunts, weed, smoke rings... and more blunts. Throw lines like "I'm losing my momentum like a rolling stone / Guaranteed that when you see me I'll be rolling stoned," over an infectious beat and time really starts to slow down.
"Chillin 'N' Billin" is the first single off the group's forthcoming EP The Trip, which drops next month. Until then, take a very hazy look at Amsterdam in the video below.
