Apple Delays Release of Itunes 11

Apple is having a rough week. On Tuesday the company announced in a press release that their head of mobile software Scott Forstall will be stepping down following the poor reception of Apple Maps and Siri, and their head of retail John Browett will also be leaving. Today, an Apple spokesperson said that the company would be delaying the release of iTunes 11, originally slated to debut in Oct. “The new iTunes is taking longer than expected and we wanted to take a little extra time to get it right,” said the spokesperson. “We look forward to releasing this new version of iTunes. . .before the end of November.” The update will feature several new features, including a redesigned interface, greater integration with the iCloud software, a new mini player and a split screen mode among other changes. Sounds exciting for the people who's passion for music just can't be confined to one screen.
