As EDM continues to dominate mainstream popular music like Hip-Hop in '96, seemingly everyone wants to get in on the trend. So, it should come as no surprise that the latest non-EDM artist to announce a foray into the genre is none other rapper Too $hort.
The Oakland raised rapper recently announced he'll be dropping an EDM based LP titled Weird Science on March 25 via the San Francisco imprint MalLabel Music. The 11 track project will feature one original track and 10 remixes also featuring Bay Area rapper Oh Blimey. The two MCs will trade verses on EDM beats featuring a host of producers including Dirt Monkey and Omega, Psymbionic and Wolf-e-Wolf, Samples, AHAB, S.P.E.C.T.R.E, El Diablo, Timmy Tutone, Skulltrane, Smash & Grab, Trevor Kelly and Mochipet, whose beats range from Trap, Dubstep, Future Bass, Juke, House, and Experimental.
Along with the announcement comes the release of the title track, "Weird Science," which is posted below for your listening pleasure.
