Sure, Halloween isn't until tomorrow, but we've been watching Christmas commercials for weeks already! As Christmas decorations go up earlier and earlier each year, so does Christmas music. This time, it's in the form of Starbucks' Holidays Rule compilation featuring a variety of groups including The Shins, The Head And The Heart and many more. Of those artists, this year's breakout band Fun. will be contributing their take on "Sleigh Ride," which has made it's way online and is streaming at in full at Philadelphia's Radio 104.5.
Although the song has been interpreted by too many artists to count, Fun.'s take feels fresh and modern from it's opening orchestration, to it's electronic drum parts and Nate Ruess' signature falsetto.
"Sleigh Ride" and 16 other classics are available on the Holidays Rule compilation in stores and digitally today. Stream “Sleigh Ride” by Fun., here.
