As we've mentioned before, today marks the 50th anniversary the British Invasion began (literally), with the Beatles appearing on the Ed Sullivan Show. Headlining a show at Madison Square Garden last night, Arctic Monkeys decided to commemorate this significant moment in pop history; the band opened the encore of their set with a cover version of "All My Loving," one of the three classic songs the Beatles performed that memorable night in 1964. The tribute seems more than fitting, since the British press has spent a good part of Arctic Monkeys' existence comparing them to the Fab Four.
