In 2012, New York MC, Action Bronson, released a mixtape with producer, Justin Nealis, who went by the name of Party Supplies. Sean Mahon is now a member of Part Supplies, and the production duo teamed up with Bronson again last year to release a sequel, Blue Chips 2. In between those two mixtapes, Bronson and producer The Alchemist released Rare Chandeliers.
For fans of the three mixtapes, in seems the best of both worlds is happening, as the three teams are working together on a collaborative project. Justin Nealis of Party Supplies recently sat down with HipHopDX, and talked about Jericho, the name of the project.
"We went out to LA with [Bronson] last month- me, him, Alchemist, and Sean recorded an entire EP of new material under the name Jericho" Nealis revealed. "Jericho may be a project that we drop, that's really under-the-table, no one knows about that yet. Jericho may just be like a multi-genre, no label EP that may cross genres from Hip Hop to Electro to '80s pop."
There seem to a lot of options for what the group is thinking of doing, which is never a bad thing. You can watch a video for "Steve Wynn" off the original Blue Chips mixtape to tide you over, and check back here for more information.
