Flying Lotus: Flying Lotus Scores Indie Film, "Imperial Dreams"

After reports that Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard and Adam Horovitz would be scoring films at this year's Sundance Film Festival, Flying Lotus is the latest to sign on as a composer. The film, Imperial Dreams, will feature an original soundtrack composed by the electronic producer. 

Directed by Malik Vitthal, Imperial Dreams is a about a young writer recently released from jail who is out on a journey to find his son. The lead character will also have to overcome a family and circumtances that are far beyond "normal," Indiewire reports.

Flying Lotus has a background in film scoring, including a joint project with Jay Z titled An Oversimplication of Her Beauty that hit select theaters last year.
