Before emo was cool and was turned into a Hot Topic commodity, there brash raucus bands such as Cap 'n Jazz. And from the ashes of Cap n' Jazz came Owls which was all of the same members minus Davey Von Bohlen. They released their album One in 2001 and then soon disbanded. But now 13 years later, members Tim Kinsella, Mike Kinsella, Victor Villarreal, and Sam Zurick have found their way back and are about to release their second album. And to prove that it actually happened, the first track from that album titled "I'm Surprised..." has been unveiled. It still contains all of the jangling goodness that you may have remembered from yesteryear.
Their new album Two will be released on March 25, 2014 via Polyvinyl Records.
