Following the startling news of his band going on an indefinite break, garage rock pacesetter John Dwyer has announced a solo album under the moniker Damaged Bug. The LP, which finds Dwyer going for a more automated, synth-heavy sound, will be titled Hubba Bubba, and is set come out on February 25. The next couple of months is surely going to be a big time for Dwyer, since Thee Oh Sees' final record (for the time being) is expected to be out soon, too.
