Following a legal dispute with Google, lyrics annotation site Rap Genius is now back on the search engine's search results. The founders of Rap Genius released a lengthy statement to the public apologizing for their actions:
"To Google and our fans: we're sorry for being such morons," the founders wrote. "We regret our foray into irrelevant unnatural linking. We're focused on building the best site in the world for understanding lyrics, poetry, and prose and watching it naturally rise to the top of the search results."
Rap Genius was previously removed from Google for practicing SEO strategies that altered the site's rankings to improve search results. [P4K]
