After breaking first-week sales records, topping the book charts in the UK, and then selling one copy of his autobiography for mere £8,300, Morrissey is now getting ready to follow it up. In an interactive Q&A on his fan site True to You, the singer acknowledged the enormous success he's had with the autobiography, and said that he "has his hopes" for the novel he's "mid-way through" writing.
Morrissey also mentioned being about to record a new album, which will include a track called "Istanbul," named after one of Morrissey's favorite cities in the world. The upcoming solo LP (for, as far as the Smiths are concerned, Moz was quick to remark: "As an entity, I have no interest in the Smiths") will be a successor to 2009's Years of Refusal.
