Seattle-based Gothic folk outfit King Dude will release its sophomore full-length LP, Burning Daylight, on Oct. 16 through Dais Records. Today, the group released the official video for "Holy Land" — a doom-tinged, dreamlike cut off the forthcoming album.
Set against a backdrop of a rural church graveyard, the "Holy Land" video plays out like a nightmare, with indeterminate shadowed characters lurking among flashes of headstones, religious text and snakes. It's enough to highlight the beautiful morbidity of King Dude's unique brand of dark experimental Americana.
