Most Americans will be suffering from a food coma or the hysteria of the biggest shopping hunt of the year during this Thanksgiving weekend. To help you ease back into the work week, we have a pair of tickets to see Brendan Canning (a founding member of Broken Social Scene) on Monday, November 29 at Mississippi Studios in Portland, OR.
Canning is winding down his North American fall tour in support of You Got 2 Chill. The second solo LP from the Canadian singer/songwriter is a set of 14 weightless, no-frills shimmering tracks that envelopes like a warm, fuzzy blanket. Created in the veteran musician's Toronto living room, You Got 2 Chill centers around an acoustic guitar and analgesic vocals that provides serenity during the frenetic holiday season.
