Earlier this year, when snow was still hugging the pavements of Brooklyn, Celestial Shore released a hypnotic ballad, "Valerie". Now with the concrete below your feet hot enough to fry an egg, the East Coast trio has released a song with a summer-ish title, "Swimmer's Sinking Feeling". These off-kilter experimental pop tracks are avaible on Celestial Shore's debut LP, 10x, out Sept 3 on Portland's Hometapes and Local Singles (Brad Oberhofer's new label). The album features vocals from Empress Of's Lorely Rodriguez, mixing by Greg Saunier of Deerhoof, and cover art by Prince Rama.
