Verdigrls are a teen sister duo from Connecticut, who've made a select few demos and releases outside of this Prefix Premiere. Anna & Catherine Wolk are makers of very chilled indie pop or even dream pop songs with a lot of serenity and mystery. There is a lot of "sad girl electro chamber pop" going on, to quote their Facebook page.
What's especially captivating is how well this Daft Punk/Panda Bear collab works with the rest of Verdigrls' body of work. Dreamy synths and incredible harmonies from the twins make this cover definitely worth listening to. It's much more reserved and features a very light string arrangement in the midst of the thick synth riff. The source material gets a little stale, but this cover never dulls.
