Deerhunter, the band that seems to be incapable of making a shoddy record even if they tried, is continuing their live promotion for the fifth studio album, Monomania. With the lineup change, the haze of shoegaze diminished to make a room for ardent garage exploration on their 8-tracked LP.
After spending much of their time in Europe, appearing at Primavera Sound festivals with record breaking three performances (thanks to Band of Horses cancellation) in Barcelona edition, along with curating ATP UK, the Athens, GA quintet returns to their home continent for a full tour. Led by the inimitable Bradford Cox, he may or may not wear a dress, makeup, or a garland, but he's sure to make it a worthwhile show.
