There is still scant information on a new album from cinematic songstress Lana Del Rey. However, a few previously unreleased gems have been leaking onto YouTube of late; with new track “Maha Maha” appearing today. Reports suggest that the song was recorded in 2010 and is a collaboration between Del Rey and producer Princess Superstar, who recorded “Golden Greill” and “Mooije Joue” together in the same session.
This latest leak follows the appearance last week of a previously unheard Del Rey tune “So Legit”, that seems to bash the singer’s one time chum Lady GaGa. Clearly Del Rey saw fit to exchange the profound for profanity with lyrics like, "You were the freak king of the piercing shop... You're looking like a man, you're talking like a baby/ How the fuck is your song in a Coke commercial, crazy?" Ouch... it seems Lana's lyrical nous goes out the window when she gets angry. Needless to say "So Legit" disappeared from YouTube soon after.
However, “Maha Maha” sees the singer in much better mood. Check out the clip below.
