Chicago R&B-hip-hop crossover Kit has released a new track that teases his NewWavey album, which hits the net on July 30. Sporting a similar weed-and-chicks innuendo as his two previous singles, “My Bad Bitch” is a hypnotic, slow-dragging cut. The Chi newcomer’s product might seem a bit repetitive, but with only three songs out at this point, we don’t really know him that well to label him as your usual gun-toting misogynistic rapper (and we’ll most likely get more out of him next week). All of his tracks have been exclusively backed by the production of Jeremiah Meece of budding production duo The-Drum of the same town, and today he is assisted vocally by JODY, an early R&B supergroup also out of Chicago—which gives you little reason to shut off his broadcast if you are familiar with those guys.
