Tegan and Sara are releasing their lucky number seventh album, Heartthrob, in early 2013, and here's the first listen: a melodic (duh), anthemic (of course) and downright poppy (wha?) track called "I'm Not Your Hero." In a recent interview with MTV Hive, Tegan Quin confirmed that the twin sister duo have made a noticeable transition from indie rock to indie pop: "We’re solidly putting our feet down in the pop world." But fans of earlier Tegan and Sara albums like The Con needn't fret about the band's music becoming vapid and mechanized; if "I'm Not Your Hero" is any indication, these ladies are still keeping their unique vocals and unbridled emotional touch at the forefront of their sound.
