In the music video for The Knife's "Tooth For An Eye", a gymnasium is a playground to subvert the traditional male status. A female adolescent dressed in a referee attire, leads the men of all ages and race into a dance where they seem to be reduced to puppets in the girl's spectacle. The dark tropic-tronica number paired with the unsettling video directed by Roxy Farhat & Kakan Hermansson couldn't be more idiosyncratically apt for the Swedish duo.
Also below are the video for first single from the forthcoming LP, Shaking the Habitual, and tour dates.
“A Tooth For An Eye” and "Full of Fire" from The Knife’s forthcoming album, Shaking The Habitual, is available on April 8 (UK/Europe) and April 9 (North America) via Brille/Mute Records.
