When Rhye's beautiful airy single "Open" was released earlier this year, the song's sullen and gentle touch resonated with a lot of ears. The duo Robin Hannibal and Mike Milosh crafted a perfect soulful song. But now rising Canadian DJ and producer Ryan Hemsworth has given a different kind of sparkle to the track. Still solemn and beautiful, Hemsworth was able to inject just enough electronic beats into the track to make the heart pump just a bit more but still stay calm at the same time.
Rhye’s upcoming debut album Woman will be available March 5, 2013 via Loma Vista.
