Denmark's Efterklang have been submerged deep in promoting their haunting fourth LP, The Ghost of Piramida. After conquering Australia and performing at The Metropolitan Museum of Art with a sixteen-piece orchestra in NYC last year, the now trio has been shoveling through the snow to complete their European leg of the tour. Their journey will end with two sold out shows in their hometown of Copenhagen, with a preceding appearance at by:Larm festival in Oslo next week. After a week of recouping, Efterklang will commence a month-long North American tour on Feb 26 in Boston with a six-piece live band. They just released a music video for “The Living Layer”, evoking a ghostly parallel universe of Copenhagen with its snow and modern architecture landscaped in a light-flaring watery world where its inhabitants seem to be contemplating a cosmic plan.
