The eccentric Brighton, UK outfit, British Sea Power, first emerged to the scene while supporting for Interpol. Or at least that's how I was introduced to them in Dortmund, Germany - a decade ago when foliage and stuffed birds were much more prevalent on their stage. Since then, the sea-loving Brits have consistently put out solid work while refining and evolving their music, as well as masterfully soundtracking a documentary, The Sea To The Land Beyond. BSP's sixth album, Machineries of Joy, will be released on April 2 (1 UK) via Rough Trade.
