While there had been rumblings that Daft Punk would be touring in 2013, UK dj/founder of the Bestival music festival Rob Da Bank recently dispelled those rumors. In an interview with E Festivals (via CoS), Bank states he was informed that the legendary electronic duo would not be touring this year.
"There's all kinds of crazy rumours flying about at the moment about Daft Punk at Coachella, and The Rolling Stones playing Glastonbury. We got told months ago that Daft Punk were definitely not touring next year, but it keeps the rumour mill going. "
So there you have it. While it looks as though Daft Punk won't be touring in 2013, that technically does not rule off a one-off show, right?
