
The biggest news from last night's "12-12-12" concert was the sort of reunion of Nirvana with Paul McCartney taking on lead vocal duties. It's a bit strange to call something a reunion when a band's original vocalist isn't performing, but it has been a number of years since the remaining members of Nirvana have played together on stage.
While a 70-year-old McCartney filling in for Kurt Cobain sounded like a questionable proposition, it ended up being a solid performance that drew a solid chorus of cheers after the group rocked out a new song "Cut Me Some Slack."
