Both Drake and Chris Brown will not face any criminal charges over their alleged roles in a nightclub brawl that happened back on June 14. The fight was rumored to have started over an argument regarding Rihanna.
TMZ reports that authorities have concluded their investigation and will not be pursuing either artist for their involvement at WIP nightclub. Although surveillance video captured the altercation, the footage was deemed too dark and blurry to serve as conclusive evidence.
In response to the authorities' decision to no longer pursue the case, Drake's lawyer Blair Berk stated, "Drake was never even a suspect so it's no surprise."
Tony Parker's civil lawsuit against WIP for $20 million is still ongoing. The NBA star suffered an eye injury the night of the brawl.
