Tina Fey and Paul Rudd? Yes, please. While the 30 Rock star's long-standing reign as queen of primetime comedy is coming to an end (this is the show's seventh and final season), she doesn't seem too keen to sit back and put her feet up.
This March she'll star with Paul Rudd in the Paul Weitz-helmed (About a Boy) indie rom-com Admission. Fey plays a Princeton admissions officer (Portia) who visits an experimental high school and meets Rudd's character, John, with whom she attended college. This event reminds her of the "life-altering decision" she made as a young student herself--having a son and then placing him for adoption. To add to the deluge of emotions, John introduces Portia to a gifted student who may in fact be her son. Not exactly groundbreaking material, but Fey and Rudd will undoubtedly contribute their personal brands of charm.
Admission was adapted from Jean Hanff Korelitz's 2009 novel of the same title. It co-stars Michael Sheen, Wallace Shawn, Gloria Reuben, Nat Wolff, and Lily Tomlin. Watch a trailer below. [Indiewire]
