A galaxy of musical stars are coming out to lead a benefit concert for Hurricane Sandy victims. Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Kanye West, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, Alicia Keys, The Who, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, and more are slated to perform at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 12.
The benefit, called 12-12-12: The Concert For Sandy Relief, is being put on by Clear Channel and iHeartRadio in conjunction with the Weinstein Company and the Madison Square Garden Company. The companies previously came together for the well-received Concert for New York City following the September 11 attacks.
Proceeds will go towards the Robin Hood Fund, New York's largest poverty fighting organization. Ticket and additional artist information will be announced soon, and a TV outlet is expected to broadcast the concert as well.
