In what promises to be the oddest and perhaps the scariest beef to come along in awhile, Robert De Niro is reportedly very upset with Jay-Z. It all stems from the fact that the singer offered to contribute music to DeNiro's Tribeca Film Festival, but according to the actor, Jay-Z never returned any of his six phonecalls.
According to the New York Post, the two confronted one another at Leonardo DiCaprio's birthday party in New York, and you could cut the tension with a knife. One source stated that "De Niro told Jay that if somebody calls you six times, you call them back. It doesn't matter who you are, that is just rude."
Jay-Z and Beyonce reportedly tried some jokes to smooth things over, but the Oscar winner wasn't having any. "It was the talk of the party," said the source. "Everyone was saying there's only one star in New York bigger and badder than Jay-Z, and that's Robert De Niro. He can be quite scary when he's angry."
