Andre 3000: "I Don't Know The Future Of Music Right Now"

Big Boi may be reasserting his status in the game with his forthcoming second solo album, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, but OutKast's other half is less sure about his future in music. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Andre 3000 let his eager followers know that they shouldn't hold their breath for any new music.

"Things are kind of up in the air with me, and some days, I feel like yeah, I'll do it. Some days, I feel like, I don't. I don't know the future of music right now. I have no idea what I do. I honestly don't," he said. "I record and I write ideas. I think I'll always do that, for some reason. But I don't know if it will go to another artist or will it be my stuff or will it go to some movie? I don't know. I just kind of keep creating and hopefully, it'll fall into a slot. "

Three Stacks didn't offer much more clarity when addressing the age-old question of an OutKast reunion, either. "What's crazy is, I don't read the Internet. I've never had a Twitter, I've never had a Facebook. None of that kind of stuff, because it makes me mad to read it sometimes. I just don't. I don't hear all the rumors," he said, referring to the speculation that he and Big Boi were partnering back up with L.A. Reid at Epic Records.

It's tough being an Andre 3000 fan right now, but if there's any consolation, it's that we can look forward to his apparently spotlight-stealing verse on T.I.'s upcoming Trouble Man track, "Sorry."
