Ryan Gosling will have to wait another year for justice. People Magazinehas named their annual Sexiest Man Alive, and this year the title is going to Magic Mike star Channing Tatum.
I guess it's kind of difficult not to win the title when you play a male stripper in a high-grossing summer movie. Plus, there have been rumors that Tatum would win the title for a while. The 32-year-old is taking the place of Bradley Cooper, the 2011 winner.
There were complaints last year that actor Ryan Gosling should have won, due to his multiple 2011 movies (Crazy Studid Love, Drive, The Ides of March) and his everyday superhero behavior in his personal life, but Gosling still doesn't hold the title.
Tatum is married to actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum, his Step Up co-star.
Although women go nuts for Tatum's chiseled muscles, the actor says he likes "to be lean. If I get too bulky I can't move well and I like to move. When I'm not training, I get really round and soft."
He's currently training for the upcoming film Foxcatcher, where he'll play an Olympic athlete.
Stars like Johnny Depp, George Clooney and Brad Pitt have earned People's coveted title in previous years.
