After giving Nas' "Life's a Bitch" a whole new, Wu-Tang-inspired soundlift last week, storming new producers Thelonious Martin and DJ Castle, collectively known as The Legion of Doom, return with yet another remix of a classic hip-hop anthem. The pair breathe new life into "Put It On" by the late Big L, blending that distinctive flute melody as heard on Consequence's "Job Song" with their own comforting, cruising drum loop. The end result offers some solice for the fact these hip-hop talents will never enjoy the opportunity to properly collaborate.
