Discarded Computer Equipment is not a cool new band, but in fact actual discarded computer equipment. In this video, put together by London-based studio Is This Good?, you'll see 97 pieces of old electronic junk--including photocopiers, scanners, fax machines, printers, hard drives and modems--perform a brief but recognizable cover of "The Times They Are A-Changin'" by Bob Dylan. Really.
Chris Cairns of ITG wrote in the video's description box, "We found loads of old machines destined for landfill, took them to bits and reverse engineered them to make noises that we could control via MIDI." Below, you can watch the machines do their (programmed) thing. [Vulture]
