With one of the year’s most celebrated albums behind him, it was only a matter of time before Frank Ocean’s music started showing up in strange places. After appearing on late night shows and Saturday Night Live so far this year, the Odd Futurist’s music will now apparently appear on Gossip Girl of all places.
This week’s episode is expected to prominently feature five track’s from Ocean’s debut LP, Channel Orange. So while you’re watching an episode entitled “Monstrous Ball” this week, you can expect to hear notes of “Super Rich Kids,” “Sweet Life,” “Thinkin Bout You,” “Lost” and “Pyramids.” Catch it all this Monday, Nov. 12 at 9pm on the CW and grab Channel Orange on Def Jam now.
