One of the year’s most highly anticipated films finally got a full-length theatrical trailer today. The extended trailer for Les Misérables highlights the epic film’s strong cast and its use of music from the musical of the same name. Based on that musical and Victor Hugo’s classic French novel, the film follows a cast of poor French citizens as they rise up in revolution.
Directed by Tom Hooper (The King’s Speech), Les Misérables stars Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway and Russell Crowe. Watch the dramatic trailer below and catch the film in theaters starting Christmas Day. [Vulture]
