
The election is over, and most pundits agree that part of the reason President Obama won a second term over Mitt Romney is because of changing demographics. In 2008, the share of the electorate that identified as a minority was at an all-time high, but many felt that this rate was unsustainable.
It seems that 2012 kept up the trend and demonstrated that Republicans may have trouble winning future elections if they only concentrate on white voters.
