Remember a few months ago when Deadmau5 bashed David Guetta, saying that all he did was show up at his live shows, push a few buttons and had a live show? Well, the French DJ finally fired back.
In an interview with Vibe (via NME), Guetta takes offense to Deadmau5’s claims, saying every sound that fans hear at his shows are made by him.
''For so many years I DJed in clubs and learned the hard way,” he explains. “The big DJs start by being bedroom producers and they have a hit and suddenly start playing in front of thousands of people. But the way I did it was by working six nights, playing eight hours sets every night. I've learned a lot about how to communicate with the crowd, so when my music crossed over that stayed. The connection with the people is what makes the difference for me.''
Don’t expect this to be the last in what could be a juicy feud between two of the biggest DJs.
