Vocalist Gabrielle Smith and producer Benjamin Schurr create haunting, atmospheric electronic music under the moniker Eskimeaux, and today we are excited to premiere the duo's latest single, "Trinkets."
The track is part of the two-piece's upcoming eponymous album, which is slated for a November 8release via the non-profit label, Human Kindness Overflowing. The song features Smith's ethereal, airy vocals atop simple, soft electronic melodies that create a sort of futuristic lullaby.
As a non-profit, HKO plans to sell the album for $5, $2.50 of which will provide five meals for those in need through Philabundance, while $1.25 goes toward funding future charitable projects through the label and the last $1.25 goes to the artist.
