When you think about Christmas movies, you probably imagine films that involve a heartwarming message about family, togetherness and kindness. Even wacky children's fare, like Home Alone, has a heart beneath its slapstick comedy. And despite all the murders and explosions, Die Hard is a Christmas movie about a man simply trying to reconnect with his wife (terrorists notwithstanding).
However, you probably don't think of murder and mayhem when you picture Christmas. However, you may soon be adding a bloody flick to your Yuletide viewing list - Silent Night.
An update of the controversial 1984 horror thriller Silent Night, Deadly Night, this movie focuses on a town in the grip of a killing spree initiated by a person in a Santa suit making judgments about who is naughty and who is nice.
