Names like E-40, Too $hort and Mistah F.A.B. may continue to polarize in Bay Area hip-hop discussions, but said Californian scene is birthing a new generation of hotshots: Main Attrakionz, DaVinci and, of course, the Based God himself, Lil B. But only few of the Bay's new breakouts can boast appeal that spans across the pond and a certified West Coast club hit, as Southern Hospitality point out, like akaFRANK.
Released back in August of last year, "Racist (My Dick Ain't)" is that marquee hit for the rapper. Like many party favorites, the track is hardly heralded for its lyrical finesse, but what it lacks in dexterity, it certainly makes up for in message—albeit one delivered in a pretty unorthodox manner. "My dick ain't racist," proclaims FRANK, before stating his zero discrimination policy when it comes to bumping uglies with the opposite sex.
Tyng in with the absurd/hilarious/inspiring concoction of a theme, the accompanying video, fresh to screens today, sees the rapper channel the energy of the civil rights movement, looking like a young Malcolm X himself, while marching down the street waving the ever-so-slightly-explicit signs. There's also plenty of half-nekkid females throughout the clip, just to make it even more suitable for workplace viewing.
Your grandparents probably won't approve, but we're sold. Watch the "Racist (My Dick Ain't)" video below.
