Los Angeles' resident slacker punk phenoms FIDLAR will release their long-awaited debut full-length LP via Mom + Pop Records on Jan. 22. Several months ago, the endearingly rambunctious group released the album's version of live set staple "Cheap Beer" — and today, FIDLAR debuted the song's equally wild and crazy video.
Directed by Ryan Baxley, "Cheap Beer" follows a maniacal, malt beverage-loving hooligan through the streets of Los Angeles, pummeling beer snobs into a bloody pulp. The video effortlessly skirts the lines between B movie horror freakout and over-the-top social satire — not unlike the crass, impishly sarcastic nature of FIDLAR's punk rock zingers.
FIDLAR is currently on tour with Delta Spirit and will play select dates in the UK later this winter. Check out the band's upcoming tour dates, crack open a cold one and watch "Cheap Beer" below.
