Besides taking the lives of at least 48 people, displacing thousands, shutting down Wall Street and causing billions of dollars in damage, Hurricane Sandy also proved to be quite a nuisance for your favorite indie bands touring the Northeast. Luckily, this isn’t slowing down English pop minimalists the xx. Today, the trio announced rescheduled dates for shows in Boston and Philadelphia, as well as a string of new shows in early 2013. Tickets for the majority of the gigs will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, and all tickets for canceled shows will be honored for the new dates. Don't worry New York fans: the group also stated that they are working on rescheduling an NYC date to be announced soon.
