Atlanta punks Black Lips are well known for their spooky onstage antics — yet for this Halloween, it appears the notoriously boisterous band has chosen to celebrate not with full-frontal nudity, but with some choice holiday jams.
Featuring classic gems from Halloween-approved garage rock pioneers such as The Ventures and Link Wray, the mix thankfully strays from the usual punk-themed Halloween mix cliches. Inexplicably, however, the Black Lips also throw in a few befuddling, scary cuts from Three 6 Mafia — maybe that's the "trick" in "trick or treat"?
