Hollywood power couples come in different shapes and sizes. There are serious ones, like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and there are hilarious ones, like the recently separated Amy Poehler and Will Arnett.
Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman certainly fall into the latter category, but they've only really existed as a power couple for the past few years. They've both been active in show business for a while, but she was succeeding on Will and Grace years ago while her male counterpart hadn't broken in yet.
Fortunately, Parks and Recreation came along and gave us the magnificent Ron Swanson -- king of all things conservative, meat and wood. There are grains of truth in Offerman's portrayal of his character, just as there must surely be nuggets of truth in the relationship between his on-screen persona and his ex-wife Tammy (played by Mullally).
As such, there was an interesting window into both a real and fake relationship on Late Night with David Letterman last night, as Offerman shared a silly love song he wrote for his wife's birthday. Check it out below (via BuzzFeed).
